In my twenty two years living in EG, I've never seen quail on my property until I moved here. They seem to like hanging around in the yard or in the front. They are kind of pretty. Click to enlarge and see the comb on their heads.
The sun was setting and the fence is creating shadows. Dave has taken down the fence, finally!
The azaleas are blooming. A few weeks ago the entire alleyway was filled with pink and red camellias and purplish rhododendrons. I missed taking pictures of it.

After three years of taking care of these roses,(the ones in the pot) they finally look good. There were more than 24 blooms on them and they smell delcious. So, this is what I work on about three hours a day average in the spring and summer. I enjoy it, but my muscles and knees don't like it. Hopefully, some of you can come visit this summer and enjoy it with us. :)

The backyard looks great! I can't wait to visit and take some pictures of Hannah in it. I've gotten a lot of compliments on the picture we took in your backyard last year.
It looks gorgeous! I need your help in deciding flowers when you come to Utah. I'm going to attempt to grow a small vegetable garden and a few flowers.

I wish we were coming to visit this summer. Your yard is gorgeous! The roses look great. Allie keeps asking to go to California to see you guys. I think she misses Tigger and your awesome yard too. We are excited to have you out in a few weeks.
I love your backyard! I wish we lived closer so I could come over everyday :) I think gardening is an awesome hobby and good exercise too.
